Overture is a creative coaching studio founded by counselor and drama therapist Olivia Candocia and improviser and musician Dave Asher. We bring together the artistry of improvisation and music with the depth of drama therapy to open pathways into play, presence, and possibility.
Our approach is grounded and compassionate—helping you rediscover your voice, express yourself authentically, and engage with life in meaningful ways. Sessions foster openness, curiosity, and creativity within a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where growth can take root.
Whether you’re navigating stress, healing from addiction, moving through anxiety or depression, or simply seeking to reconnect with your sense of aliveness, Overture offers a uniquely powerful space for change—bridging the best of the arts and therapeutic practice to support real transformation.
Olivia Candocia
Olivia is a mental health counselor and drama therapist who has worn—and still wears—many hats, including actor, theatre director, voice actor, and preschool teacher. At the heart of her work runs a single thread: supporting people in exploring themselves with curiosity, celebrating authenticity, embracing mistakes, and connecting through play and shared humanity.
